Tension Rises in Savages Crossing
Posted by: Craig Villinger on March 7, 2010. Share Comments (3)
Savages Crossing PosterFollowing the success of Wolf Creek John Jarret headed to Queensland to start his own production company, Winnah Films, and Winnah's recently completed first feature Savages Crossing is now preparing to besiege local and international audiences.

Directed by Kevin Dobson and boasting a high-profile local cast including John Jarratt, Craig McLachlan, Sacha Horler, Jessica Napier, Chris Haywood, Angela Punch McGregor and Rebecca Smart, Savages Crossing is a psychological thriller that promises to deliver mind games, deceit, and murder! Cut off and trapped as a flood rages around them, a group of strangers are forced to take shelter in an outback roadhouse. However, as the flood waters rise events inside the safe haven soon become as dangerous as the elements outside as murderous intentions are revealed and hostilities escalate...

Savages Crossing will be given a limited theatrical release in Australia from April 10, with Anchor Bay handling the DVD release later in the year.
