Back in May last year we were teased with 30 seconds of footage from the forthcoming survival horror/creature feature hybrid Primal as it prepared to wow buyers at the Cannes Film Festival, and now, some nine months later we can finally sink our teeth into the full trailer, which features a hefty mix of slick action and savage gore!
In Primal, directed by feature debutant Josh Reed (the son of Long Weekend director Colin Eggleston) and starring Zoe Tuckwell-Smith, Wil Traval, Krew Boylan, Lindsay Farris, Rebekah Foord and Damien Freeleagus, with stunts supervised by the legendary Grant Page, six friends set out on a trek to a remote wilderness location, but when one of them takes a dip in the waterhole she becomes feverish, and regresses to a predatory, primal state...
There are no local or international release plans confirmed at this stage, though the movie will be shopped around the European Film Market later this month by AV Pictures where it will hopefully receive a positive response.
Gimme a break guys, I'm a single mum social work student in desperate need of escapist entertaiment. So entertain me. Please. Easter is coming up and the rabbit will remember!

Okay sadistic teasers, when is the cinema release? Clever Aussie story, sexy cast and smart marketing so support Aussie films and show it.
