The Fat Cats Will Pay in Uwe Boll's 'Assault on Wall Street'

Assault on Wall Street

Has Uwe Boll, the man responsible for such gems as Postal, Bloodrayne, and… errr... House of the Dead, gone all serious on us and produced an insightful analysis of the global financial crisis? With artwork that sees Dominic Purcell armed to the teeth as a building explodes behind him, we're thinking no, probably not.

It's been available overseas for some time now, but local Boll fanatics will be able to get another Uwe fix next month with Mandala Films announcing the release of Assault on Wall Street. Starring the aforementioned Purcell along with Erin Karpluk, John Heard, Edward Furlong, Michael Pare, and Eric Roberts, Assault on Wall Street will be available on both DVD and Blu-ray from February 18.

Purcell plays Jim, an average blue collar New Yorker with a fairly relaxed existence who suddenly loses everything when the economy goes tits up. Understandably peeved, Jim snaps and elects to take out his anger on the bankers, lawyers, and corporate fat cats he blames for destroying his life.

Check out the Blu-ray and DVD cover art below, along with a trailer.
