Infini, the Australian sci-fi thriller with shades of Alien and Event Horizon, will land on digital platforms tomorrow, and Entertainment One has teased us with a couple of exclusive clips that you can watch below.
In the second feature from Director Shane Abbess (Gabriel), Daniel MacPherson stars as Whit Carmichael, the lone survivor of a freak incident on a deep space mining station. As an elite Search and Rescue team arrives to retrieve him, they are forced to confront whatever caused the death of his crew and stop it from returning to earth.
Along with MacPherson Infini also features Grace Huang, Luke Hemsworth, Kevin Copeland, Dwaine Stevenson, Harry Pavlidis, Louisa Mignone, Tess Haubrich, Bren Foster and Luke Ford.
The first video runs for a brief 14 seconds, but it does give you an idea of the slick style and dark tone of the film as Whit Carmichael leaps for his life. We're not sure if he'll be making the olympic long jump team after this effort however. The clip also comes with its own DVD style extra feature as you can see how the stunt was put together in the second video.
Infini is available to rent or purchase on iTunes and other digital platforms on May 8.
